Recording Secretary Responsibilities
*Taking/transcribing meeting minutes
*Produce "draft" minutes for review
*Making revisions to minutes
*Producing/distributing final copy
*Other duties as assigned by club
Corresponding Secretary Responsibilities
*All club correspondence to individuals (within or outside of club) concerning club business
*Sends meeting minutes out to club members
*Club notices
*Thank you's, etc
Both secretaries should keep a file yearly of what they produce - it should be passed on each year to the new secretary. This is a good way to have consistent record keeping.
