Penn State DuBois Wins PSUAC Conference Championship

Penn State DuBois' Men's Basketball team defeated Penn State Abington 85-82 in double-overtime on Saturday at the Bryce Jordan Center to become the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference champions for the first time in campus history.

On Friday they defeated Penn State New Kensington 74-57 in the semi-finals.

Penn State DuBois To Play in Final Four at the Bryce Jordan Center

The Legend continues………….Our Penn State DuBois Men’s Basketball Team won the first round of the PSUAC Conference which earned them the chance to play in the Final Four at the Bryce Jordan Center this Friday Evening at 8 p.m.  The winner will then advance to the Finals on Saturday at noon

Show your support and let’s all get there…we are calling for a “WHITE OUT”…..which means wear your PSU DuBois white shirts if you can…and we can all sit together!!!  ROAR, ROAR, ROAR!!!!

The cost for the PSUAC Championship games will be FREE for the fans. The game starts at 8 p.m. Friday evening.  Go to GATE B – or the South Entrance.

The game will also be broadcast on “The River”  98.9 FM.

Penn State DuBois USCAA Division II Runners-Up; PSUAC playoffs Tuesday
On Saturday, our Penn State DuBois Basketball Team’s drive for a national title fell just short.  Our Lions were unable to hold a half-time lead and lost Saturday afternoon to top-seeded Cincinnati-Clermont by a score of 81-72 in the USCAA Division II title game.

We will get a second chance at a post-season championship beginning Tuesday night at 7:00 P.M. when we host Penn State Beaver in the quarter-finals of the PSUAC playoffs.

The DuBois Campus invites everyone to be on hand Tuesday evening to welcome home our USCAA Division II Runners-Up, and to cheer them to victory over Beaver and a spot in the PSUAC semi-finals next Friday at the Bryce Jordan Center.

Update: On Friday, Penn State DuBois defeated Hesser College of Manchester, NH, by a score of 90-73 in the semi-finals. 

Up next, Penn State DuBois meets Cincinnati-Clermont on Saturday at 3:30 P.M. for the USCAA Division II Championship.

In front of about 50 fans from north central Pennsylvania, the Penn State DuBois Basketball Team soundly defeated Taylor-Fort Wayne, the 2006 USCAA Champions, by a final score of 66-50.  Friday at 8:00 P.M. our Lions face Hesser College of New Hampshire in the semi-finals.
