Wetzel assumes Penn State DuBois development role

DuBois – Robert Wetzel, formerly of Uniontown, has joined the leadership team at Penn State DuBois as Director of Development. In his new capacity, Wetzel is responsible for coordinating fundraising and other development activities at the DuBois campus.

Wetzel previously served as the executive director and chief development officer of the Community Foundation of Fayette County, and more recently as a consultant to the Highmark Foundation. Wetzel also worked for nearly a decade with the Eberly Foundation.

"We are pleased to welcome Bob aboard. His extensive experience in corporate giving, grants, foundations and development makes him an excellent fit for the DuBois campus," Chancellor Anita McDonald said.

Wetzel holds an undergraduate degree in economics from Davidson College and a law degree from West Virginia University College of Law. Wetzel now resides in DuBois. He and his wife have three daughters.
