'Where's the Pride?' venue, dates change
Organizers of the monthly gathering of Penn State DuBois Alumni Society's "Where's the Pride" social event have made some changes to improve visiting opportunities for alums, students, faculty, staff and friends of Penn State.
According to Alumni Relations Officer Charlene Gaus, the monthly gathering of Nittany Lions, or the "pride," has been moved to the second Friday of each month from 5-7 p.m. with the exception of the April gathering, which will be moved to the first Friday of the month due to the Easter holiday. Throughout the remainder of the spring semester, "Where's the Pride?" will meet at the Ft. Worth Restaurant on West Long Avenue, Gaus said.
"It's a fun, relaxing way for friends of Penn State to socialize. Come as you are; order what you want. There's no cost to attend other that what you decide to drink or eat," Gaus said. She emphasized that everyone is welcome to attend, whether associated with Penn State or not.
The next "Where's the Pride?" will be Friday, March 10.
