Since 1935, Penn State DuBois has provided over ten thousand men and women with the opportunity to create better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities. 

• We continue to reach for our $12M For the Future: The Campaign for Penn State Students goal
• The Swift Building renovations are complete
•  Our library circulation area was redone for better accessibility
• The Adult Student & Veteran Services Resource Center is now open

As part of the Penn State system, we offer our students the resources of a major public university within a small-college learning environment. This combination of personal attention with a broad range of academic choices makes our campus the first step toward success for many residents of north central Pennsylvania. Over half, of the nearly 1,000 students that attend Penn State DuBois, are first generation college attendees. And, more than one third are adult learners, who must balance the demands of work, family, and school.

Our students face many challenges on the road to higher education, but some of the toughest are financial. And it’s not just the students and their families who are challenged financially. Prior to 1980, state appropriations covered more than 60 percent of University expenses.  Today, they provide only 6.7 percent of the Penn State budget.  As a result, we depend on generous alumni and friends to help provide the high quality educational experience for which Penn State is known and to help keep Penn State DuBois affordable for our students.
