Penn State DuBois encourages all students to achieve full participation and integration into its educational programs. It is Penn State’s policy not to discriminate against qualified persons with disabilities in its admissions policies or in its educational programs, services, and activities.
At every Penn State location, there is an Office of Disability Services designated to provide services for students with disabilities. Each designated office requests and maintains disability-related documents; certifies eligibility for services; determines academic adjustments, auxiliary aids and/or services; and develops plans for the provision of academic adjustments, auxiliary aids, and/or services, as mandated under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
In order to obtain academic adjustments, aids, and/or services, a student must be registered with this office. All information is kept confidential.
