- Post 9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33)
- Soldier has had at least 90 days of active duty time since 9/11/01.
- Can qualify for tuition and fees, books and housing allowance.
- Amount is based on service time.
- Submit a copy of your Certificate of Eligibility indicating your percentage and the Certification Request form.
- To receive your benefits in subsequent terms, you must re-submit the Certification Request to the Office of Student Aid for each enrollment term (i.e. one form for Fall/Spring, one form for Summer)
- Chapter 30 Montgomery GI Bill
- Soldier usually paid to participate.
- Has served active duty time.
- Receives a monthly stipend.
- Must certify enrollment monthly on the W.A.V.E.
- Submit a copy of your online application for benefits, DD214, and the Certification Request form.
- To receive your benefits in subsequent terms, you must re-submit the Certification Request to the Office of Student Aid for each enrollment term (i.e. one form for Fall/Spring, one form for Summer).
- Chapter 1606 – Reservists or National Guard Units
- National Guard or Reservists that were on active duty to complete their basic training and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) or Job Training qualify for Chapter 1606.
- Receives a monthly stipend/kicker.
- Must certify enrollment monthly on the W.A.V.E.
- Submit a copy of your Notice of Basic Eligibility (NOBE), a copy of your kicker contract, a copy of your online application for benefits, and the Certification Request form.
- To receive your benefits in subsequent terms, you must re-submit the Certification Request to the Office of Student Aid for each enrollment term (i.e. one form for Fall/Spring, one form for Summer).
- Chapter 1607 – REAP/Reserve Educational Assistance Program
- Has had active duty deployment.
- Receives a monthly stipend/kicker.
- Must certify enrollment monthly on the W.A.V.E.
- Submit a copy of your DD214 and kicker contract, a copy of your online application for benefits and the Certification Request form.
- To receive your benefits in subsequent terms, you must re-submit the Certification Request to the Office of Student Aid for each enrollment term (i.e. one form for Fall/Spring, one form for Summer).
- Chapter 35 – Dependent Educational Assistance Program
- Must be the child or spouse of a 100% disabled or deceased veteran (according to the Department of Defense)
- Receives a monthly stipend.
- Submit a copy of Letter of Eligibility and complete the Certification Request form.
- To receive your benefits in subsequent terms, you must re-submit the Certification Request to the Office of Student Aid for each enrollment term (i.e. one form for Fall/Spring, one form for Summer).
- Chapter 31 – Vocational Rehabilitation
- Veterans must have a service-connected disability to apply for funding under this program.

Post 9/11 recipients also receive a book stipend and BAH (Basic Allowance for Housing). The maximum book allowance is $500. The maximum BAH allowance for DuBois is $999. These amounts will be prorated based on percentage of benefits earned.
