Annette Muth is a Senior Instructor in Business Administration and a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Pennsylvania. She came to Penn State DuBois in 1998 after working in a local CPA firm for 10 years and small business management for 8 years. Ms. Muth teaches courses in financial accounting, cost accounting, income tax, corporate finance, auditing, and small business management. She supervises student internships and serves as an academic advisor for the business administration associate and bachelor degree programs. Ms. Muth received the DuBois Education Foundation Educator of the Year Award in 2000, the DuBois campus Club Advisor of the Year Award in 2004, and in 2009 the DuBois campus Excellence in Academic Advising Award.
Ms. Muth holds an M.B.A. from Penn State and a B.S. in Accounting from Penn State. She is a member of the PICPA (PA Institute of CPAs) and serves on the PICPA Relations with Schools and Colleges Committee. Besides numerous campus committees, her community service activities include: working member of St. Timothy Church Finance Council and financial literacy workshop presenter.
