Admissions Criteria
Admissions Criteria for the PTA Program
· New students must meet the admissions criteria as set by the University Enrollment Manager and the PTA faculty. A combination of high school GPA and standardized test scores as well as other criteria are looked at.
· Change of Major students or Provisional to Degree students must have a gpa of 2.75 or above, and be approved by the Enrollment Manger.
· Transfer students must have a gpa of 2.75 or above. Exceptions made on an individual basis and students must have solid academic performance in science courses to be considered.
The Physical Therapy Assistant Program is a Fall-start ONLY program. Penn State DuBois highly recommends applications are on file by November 30th for the following Fall semester.
