- Bachelor’s Degree students are required to take one US Cultures Course (US) and one International Cultures course (IL) as part of General Education, Requirements for the Major, or Electives. HDFS 315(Y) fulfills either the US or the IL requirement. Students must take an additional US Cultures course (US) as a degree requirement that will not double count in any category.
- Students must earn a grade of C or better in any HDFS courses used as supporting courses.
- Students who graduated from high school in the year 2001 or later who have not completed the recommended two high school units of the same foreign language must complete one 3-4 credit foreign language course with a grade of C (2.0) or higher at the collegiate level.
