Classroom Facilities

The Wildlife Technology Program at Penn State DuBois is dedicated to a hands-on style of learning.  To preserve this students have access to:

 
  • Modern computer faculties throughout campus, including a computer area dedicated solely for use by wildlife students
  • Large specimen collection containing skulls and skins of numerous North American species
  • Specimen preparation area including sinks, prep tables and refrigerators
  • Equipment from canoes and mist nets to GPS units and HP tablet PCs

Outdoor Classrooms 

While many of our classes are taught in traditional classrooms, the Wildlife Technology Program at Penn State DuBois also includes many outdoor laboratories. Some of the places we visit on a regular basis include:
