Stephanie, a resident of Morrisdale, has worked primarily in skilled nursing facilities and acute care.
She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and its Educational Section, as well as the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association. She is also a credentialed clinical instructor and is an adviser to the campus PTA club.

Barbara graduated from Clarion University of Pennsylvania in 1985 with a bachelor’s degree in biology and in 1988 from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy. In 1998 she earned a master’s degree in Adult and Community Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Holly Tkacik joined the PTA faculty at PSU Dubois campus in 2005. She received a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 1996, and a master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Pittsburgh in 1998. In 2005, she earned a doctorate in physical therapy from Boston University.
As her final practicum toward her doctorate degree, Holly created and implemented a service learning curriculum that remains a part of the PTA program at the campus.
In her 13 years of clinical practice, Holly has gained experience in multiple areas of the profession including inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, acute care, and home care. In addition to teaching, she currently works with the Central Intermediate Unit #10 providing school based PT for local children and with Drayer Physical Therapy Institute providing outpatient care.
Holly is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association as well as its Educational Section. She is also a credentialed clinical instructor.
