Campuses are linked to a University-wide network outlining the course requirements and latest information about academic majors available throughout the University.  This network includes academic advising specialists available at each campus to help students, as well as a full range of print and electronic resources.  The campus Advising Center (DEF 206) can help with your advising and information questions.

Congratulations and welcome!  We are glad you're joining us at The Pennsylvania State University, DuBois Campus.  The following summarizes actions you will need to complete before beginning classes in the fall.  BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR EMAIL REGULARLY AND AFTER ACTIVATION ALSO CHECK YOUR PENN STATE EMAIL.  We will use email communication from this point forward to let you know of upcoming deadlines, news, and other important information.

New Student Orientation, Phase 1 - Reach Out and Register (ROAR)

At your ROAR session, you will learn valuable information about Penn State academics, policies, financial aid, and other helpful resources available to you.  You will also meet with a trained academic advisor to set up your fall schedule.  There will be multiple dates to choose from in June and July, and a final session in August.

Before you can choose a date to come to campus to attend ROAR, there are a few steps that you need to complete.

  1. Get started by completing your Educational Planning Survey and your ALEKS Math Assessment via LionPATH by following the instructions sent to you through email.  You can also go to the Orientation page (orientation.psu.edu) and follow the links.
  2. After you have completed both assessments, you should continue to check your email for instructions to register for ROAR through VZOrientation (VZO).

Please feel free to contact Terry Hinton (tgw1@psu.edu) at 814-375-4763 or Sarah Raybuck (set137@psu.edu) at 814-375-4796 in the advising offices if you have any questions.  We can't wait to meet you!
